The Glenkinchie distillery, located in East Lothian (south-east of Edinburgh), can trace its roots back to 1825 when farmers John and George Rate chose the site for the Milton Distillery. Renamed Glenkinchie in around 1837, the distillery was eventually closed and transformed into a sawmill before being revived in 1880. Now owned by Diageo, it is one of the Four Corners of Scotland distilleries of Johnnie Walker and the distillery has recently transformed its visitor centre and gardens.

Sweet barley, malt and citrus. Honeyed tones with a fruity sweetness on the nose. Unpeated, sweet and grassy, but full in body with soft heather and nutty tones.
