The Single Malts
Oban 14
Full bodied, rich and complex. Oban's worm tubs are run hot, increasing copper contact and moderating the meaty tones that are typical of a worm tub, making this a very well-balanced malt whisky. Matured in ex-bourbon & refill American oak casks, the vanilla and toasted oak balances with Oban's maritime, robust dram.
Auchentoshan American Oak
Auchentoshan is the only distillery in Scotland to triple distill 100% of its spirit, a method commonly used in Irish distilleries. This creates a softer, lighter whisky perfectly suited to Auchentoshan's unpeated, Lowland style. Great for bourbon lovers, this release has been matured exclusively in American oak ex-bourbon, with vanilla and coconut at the forefront.
Ledaig 18 year old
Peated, yet rounded with big flavour and depth from the cask. Christmas spice, dried fruits and swirling smoke. Matured for at least 18 years in ex-sherry and ex-bourbon casks. The peated whisky made at Tobermory, Ledaig's warming smoke balances the rich, coastal character.
Glen Moray Peated
A smooth spirit from the sweet Speyside distillery. Glen Moray's single malts are affordable, light and palatable. This expression has gentle peat, and is a great representation of how soft a peated whisky can be. Balancing smoky intensity with their classic smooth spirit, this release is matured in ex-bourbon casks with hints of vanilla and coconut.
Talisker 10
Cracked black pepper and spice, rich oak, smoke and citrus. Complex, bold and one of the renowned classics. For those who like the slightly more fierce and spicy single malts. A classic island malt whisky. Coastal spice and peat with a citrus sweetness, drying smoke and rich oak.
Glenkinchie 12
A grassy and malty Lowlander. Nutty, cereal tones and a thick mouthfeel. Glenkinchie has enormous stills and uses a cold run worm tub to cut down on copper contact and promote a meatier spirit. Slightly fuller in body when compared to other Lowland malts like Auchentoshan. Sweet in taste, caramel, vanilla and honey.
